Over the last couple of years, it has become increasingly clear that periodontal disease dramatically increases the risk of peri-implantitis, implant failures, and numerous overall health conditions. Despite that growing awareness, the prevalence of periodontal disease amongst the general populace doesn’t seem to be shifting.
