Cat Schuller taught the first plus-size course in the Continuing Education Studies division at F.I.T. in New York City. One of the original full-sized models, she refused to conform to the unrealistic size requirements of the modeling industry. She spends much of her life involved in movements which foster body acceptance; Runway the Realway, Divabetics, among others. Cat is also the widow of Mark Gruenwald, the “heart and soul of Marvel Comics” who died unexpectedly in 1996.
