Write it Down

Happy New Year! We are kicking off 2022 with an amazing guest and some firsts for @widpod! Local tattoo artist, Cash Combs, hops on the mic not only to share his journey, but he was also the first guest to ever freestyle on the mic. That's right, I drop the beat and Cash spits fire. We had a blast recounting Cash's incredible creative path, and how he overcame much to be where he is now. He went to four different elementary schools, experienced loss, and grew in humility along the way. Cash brings an energy to the show that simply cannot be matched! I hope when you listen to this episode you are encouraged to pursue your passions and grow past adversity. You know what to do, sit back, relax, and get your pens ready!

Marshall Manjarres

Episode 060! I cannot believe we made it to the end of 2021 and to WIDPOD's 60th Episode! Today's show is a bit of a recap of every episode released this past year. Our audio engineer, Marshal Manjarres, hops on the mic to discuss some of Write it Down's episodes and production. We then segway into a deeper conversation about Marshall's life experiences with drugs, festivals, and open relationships. We discuss how some things in life disguise themselves as love, but they end up leaving you to feel empty. Marshall is raw and honest on the mic, and he challenges us to accept true love. One of my favorite parts of this episode is towards the end when he drops his WID. However, you'll have to listen to the whole episode to get all of his wisdom! You know what to do, sit back, relax, and get your pens ready!!

Ed Marinaro

I am so thrilled to introduce our next guest, Ed Marinaro. He is our first Hollywood actor to come on widpod. He played Officer Joey Coffey on "Hill Street Blues", portrayed Coach Marty Daniels in the hit comedy series "Blue Mountain State", and also featured in the Soprano's sequel movie "The Many Saints of Newark" which released in 2021. Ed Marinaro is a former NFL Player and had two Superbowl Appearances (VIII and IX). He played for the Minnesota Vikings, New York Jets, and Seattle Seahawks. In 1991, he was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame! Ed was such an amazing storyteller by reminiscing on his incredible acting career. I am excited and honored to release this episode! You know what to do, sit back, relax, and get your pens ready!
