Have you ever lived in an apartment building or common living building among dozens, sometimes hundreds of neighbors?
Imagine someone attacks you within view and earshot of your neighbors. Imagine seldom people take action to help. Sounds terrifying, right?
Sadly, that's exactly what happened to Catherine Susan "Kitty" Genovese in 1964 when a man she didn't know attacked and murdered her in front of countless witnesses who failed to help her.
Listen in as Guest Star Rachel and Host Amanda discuss this brutal case, and the beautiful life and tragic death of an innocent young woman that sparked decades of psychology research. Stay tuned towards the end of the episode when we discuss safety tips as well as share personal experiences that we've had in regards to keeping ourselves and others safe.
