This podcast is far from your typical podcast. Beware the faint of heart, and welcome the macabre and the morbid. Each episode will feature a different human victim, whether they succumbed to an animal attack, were murdered by another human, or met their grisly fate in a freak accident. We will learn more about the victim's life and death in each episode, and learn a bit about why or how they were chosen to depart this earthly realm, along with some interesting facts and features about the animals and people that caused these traumatic events, and how we can potentially avoid being in those situations ourselves.

Episode 1: Barbara Lynn Collister
Won Nothing Podcast
02/21/23 • 47 min
Join me as we discuss the little-known case of Barbara Collister. Barbara adored nature and exploring the raw wilderness of her 100+ acre home but she wasn't prepared for her surprise encounter with one of the most powerful wild animals on earth: a Grizzly bear.
The exact details of Barbara's passing are still up for debate but I've gathered all the information for you to form your own opinion. I also picked up some bear facts and some information on how experts say you can avoid running into a bear when out in bear country.
Don't forget your bear spray for this harrowing episode!

Episode 7: Diana Bober
Won Nothing Podcast
05/16/23 • 62 min
There is something about a free-spirited woman that makes all of us envious. Taking risks and leaping into the unknown to follow her passions, creating friendships and memories everywhere she goes, and excelling at every single thing she puts her mind to.
That was the lifestyle of Diana Bober. She grew up with a strong adoration of nature, and that pull to be among it intensified as she became an adult. After following a string of passions back and forth across the United States, she finally found herself drawn to the gorgeous trails and mountains of Oregon. Her family members and friends grew to expect glorious panoramic views of mountain ranges during Diana's many hikes, until the day all communications stopped.
After reporting her missing to police, family and officials left no stone un-turned in finding Diana, but the fate she met was far more horrifying than anyone was prepared to acknowledge.
Join us for Episode 7 as we discuss the many twists and turns on the trail of Diana Bober's life - and tragic death - and listen to the end for some animal biology and a very bizarre surprise!
The content discussed within this episode contains triggering topics such as animal attacks and death, and some foul language. Listener discretion is advised, and parental supervision is highly recommended.

Episode 18: Samuela Cirivakayawa ft. Ghost Vexers Paranormal
Won Nothing Podcast
10/17/23 • 82 min
When you envision paradise, you probably think of swaying palm trees, a soft and pleasant breeze, ocean waves lapping at the shore. You probably don't envision poverty, food rationing, and stress. But for Fiji native Samuela Cirivakayawa, this is exactly what paradise meant to him. Among his existing stresses, a low teacher's income, marital problems, and the loss of his father drove him to the edge in search of happiness, and one day Samuela had enough and decided to start over in Australia in search of a new and better life.
Follow along with your hosts Amanda, Rachel and Dayvid as we take AJ of Ghost Vexers Paranormal along for the ride as we learn how Samuela's search for happiness ultimately led to his early demise in a freak accident of morbid proportions. In trade for this grueling tale, AJ shares with us some of his most haunting experiences in investigating the paranormal at famously-haunted locations such as Mackay Mansion and more. Between the stories and the fatality, your hair is sure to be raised by the end of this episode!
We discuss graphic details of a fatality as well as paranormal experiences in this episode. Foul language inappropriate for persons under 18 years of age included, listener discretion is advised.

Jeremy Evans was just exploring the desolate back-country of Canada, seeking a prized Bighorn Sheep to hunt and bring back to his family. He had hiked miles away from his vehicle into the vast and primitive landscape and was searching for sheep, peering through his binoculars, when his life would forever change in an instant.
Join Amanda as we bring our guest Jeremy Evans in to tell the harrowing first-person story of his brutal run-in with one of nature's most ferocious predators: A Grizzly Bear.
Listen in as Jeremy tells us in detail about how he survived not just one brief bear attack, but several rounds with the hell-bent animal, and a dive down a boulder-laced hillside to what he surely thought was his demise.
Amazingly, and through sheer resilience and determination to make it back home to his family, Jeremy survived, and graciously agreed to tell his story with us.
There are many life lessons to be learned within this episode, so listen carefully and hopefully you take something with you from this amazing, unbelievable feat of survival!
Also, Jeremy teaches us about a FANTASTIC cause we should all be involved in to help our fellow humans overcome the mental aftermath caused by traumatic events and experiences like his. Episode 16: Sylvia Marie Likens Ft. Tyler (Men of Misfortune Podcast)
Won Nothing Podcast
09/19/23 • 108 min
It's hard to navigate this world without the guidance and example of a parent. From learning to walk to learning to drive, parents are supposed to provide for you, nourish you and help you grow into an independent, successful adult.
For Sylvia and Jenny Likens, this was not their reality. Growing up in a home with an inconsistent parental presence, they learned to adapt quickly by themselves in order to survive. But no amount of life experience would prepare them for what lay in store.
Join your hosts Amanda and Dayvid as we welcome Tyler from Men of Misfortune Podcast into the twisted story of Gertrude Baniszewski and the torture and horrors she inflicted onto the Likens girls. From hysterical re-imaginings of Gertie as a human-cigarette, to allegations of government conspiracy, you will want some tissues within arms-reach for the most sadistic and graphic story we've told yet.
This episode contains extremely triggering content and includes authentic audio and descriptions regarding child abuse, sexual abuse and neglect, references to drug and alcohol use, as well as foul language. Listener discretion and parental discretion is highly advised.

Episode 6: Arthur Labinjo-Hughes
Won Nothing Podcast
05/02/23 • 58 min
Innocent. Curious. Playful. Inquisitive.
These are all words that can describe nearly any 6-year old. But Arthur wasn't like other 6 year old boys; behind his bright, blonde hair and light eyes hid a world of darkness. After losing his mother to incarceration following a vigilante murder, Arthur found himself at the mercy of his father Thomas and his new girlfriend, Emma Tustin. Together, they would lead Arthur into a world of pain, neglect, and isolation as they systemically tortured him for over a year until his death, and all behind closed doors, conveniently hidden in the throes of the COVID-19 Pandemic.
Tune in as Amanda walks you through the timeline of events that led to that fateful day, as well as audio clips from the 911 call and the conversation between Emma Tustin and first responders. There is a lot to unravel but we separate the truth from the media sensationalism in this horrifying episode about a child who slipped through one of many cracks in an already-broken system.
This episode contains triggering topics such as child abuse, child death, domestic violence, murder, and foul language. This content may be sensitive to some listeners; discretion is highly advised.

Episode 8: Erica Marshall
Won Nothing Podcast
05/30/23 • 59 min
There's something beautiful about everything in life falling into place. You never know what decisions or circumstances will shape your life or how.
For Erica, falling in love over a shared passion of equine veterinary medicine was one of those circumstances. With a supportive partner at her side, Erica was ready to take the Racehorse medical industry by storm.
Sadly, life also offers the random reminders that none of us are exempt from the powers of fate, and this was all too true for Erica.
Listen in as Amanda and Rachel team up to discuss one of the most bizarre freak accidents in existence as we battle tech issues, our shared jealousy of happy couples, and how Rachel can annoy a man in 6 words or less.
This episode contains some triggering content such as the discussion of a fatality and foul language. Listener discretion is advised.

A magnificent podcast that is incredible thoroughly researched and talks about lesser known cases. The hosts Amanda and Dayvid are amazingly warm and generous people with a great banter and manage to keep it light and entertaining even while talking about some pretty heavy stuff!
