Kitty spent most of her adult life dieting. She jumped from one quick fix diet to the next. Shakes, fasting, keto and low carb. You name it she had done it. So obsessed with food that she felt like she was either restricting or was binge eating.
But that all changed in 2015 when she met Craig and stumbled across the work of Ray Peat and Emma Sgourakis. What Kitty has learnt transformed her body and health. And now her mission is to free women from restrictive diets, help them restore their metabolisms, balance their hormones and build bodies they love. Alexx Stuart is an educator and change agent who founded Low Tox Life in 2010 after seeing the lack of transparency in our food system, personal care and cleaning products.
Growing up, Alexx ate her way through many processed food snacks, microwaved meals etc all while drowning herself in cheap cosmetics as a teen, to expensive cosmetics in my years in the prestige cosmetics industry – which was all loaded with chemicals.
Suffered constant fatigue, weekly migraines, PCOS and big autoimmune issues post pregnancy... Where a day came when walking down the aisle of a major supermarket and decided she couldn’t live this way. It was definitive, and made the switch overnight.
Alexx researches everything ever since and has read volumes after volumes, studies and counter studies, to make sense of the crazy degenerative health situation we find ourselves in today. Researching the lot – all of it across all spectrums: Behaviours, allergies, daily use of painkillers, mould and food waste to mention a few examples. Alexx explains it doesn’t have to be this way and the best news is: We can hit rewind to healthier days TODAY.
