Send us a text

We are taking a break from guests this week as Martin and Patrick take a breather.
It's time for a little "mates taking" this we as Martin and Patrick take us through their lives meeting up for show business for the first time.
The journey is quite a long one trying to keep down normal jobs whilst on the cusp of breaking into show business professionally.
We discuss our first meeting, how amateur entertainer Martin is suddenly thrust onto the big stage of a 1,500 seater theatre, and how that journey takes us up and down the Country to and from different theatres and TV studios.
Our talent competitions, TV appearances, our experiences with the stars and a few awkward situations.
This is a brief look at Chapter One "Martin & Patrick" and how we got to today the Podcast, where are we going that chapter is still waiting to be written.
Next week Podcast an interview with Joe Pasquale.

Karen and Multiple Sclerosis

Send us a text

This week Martin and Patrick have kindly been invited into the home of Karen Turner who suffers from Multiple Sclerosis.
Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a condition that can affect the brain and spinal cord, causing a wide range of potential symptoms, including problems with vision, arm or leg movement, sensation, or balance.

It's a lifelong condition that can sometimes cause serious disability, although it can occasionally be mild.

In many cases, it's possible to treat symptoms. Average life expectancy is slightly reduced for people with MS.

It's most commonly diagnosed in people in their 20s, 30s, and 40s although it can develop at any age. It's about 2 to 3 times more common in women than men.

MS is one of the most common causes of disability in younger adults.

Karen gives a candid interview with the boys about her private life, describing the onset of multiple sclerosis from the early signs and symptoms, the diagnosis, the progression, and living daily with the illness.
This is a moving interview, truthful, and honest, and delves into the depths of multiple sclerosis and the daily struggles and support needed to live as much as an independent life as possible.
Karen is very strong, and one thing that is very apparent in this interview is the positive attitude Karen has to cope with each day and moving forward with her life, this interview is truly inspirational a we are so grateful to Karen for sharing her story with us.
More information on multiple sclerosis can be found here at MS-UK.
