10/24/22 • 40 min
Coy grew up in a small town in Indiana that instead of a one-stoplight town, he refers to it as a one-stop sign town. Coy and the rest of his classmates had to play multiple sports just to have enough players for each team. It was apparent from a young age that coy had a passion for sports and training, but Coy ran into several roadblocks trying to turn his passion into a career. On the show, we discuss how graduating with his Masters in the middle of the pandemic and having his first job offer rescinded fueled him to explore every option and try something he otherwise might not have. Pinnacle was an opportunity to grow as a trainer while also expanding a gym and building a business in the process. After two years at Pinnacle, Coy has helped expand their facility and now trains several notable Professional and Collegiate athletes such as Evan Engram, Andrew Thomas, and BJ Ojulari.
