As a mental health advocate in the wellness industry for over ten years who not only survived severe postpartum depression and thrives with a mental health condition, Sasha Nicole’s mission is to assist others in living a healed and whole life while honing in on what truly makes you happy. For women who feel stuck and stagnant in life, Sasha Nicole teaches how to feel more confident and courageous.
If you know me, you know that I love talking about mental health. My intention for this episode was to talk about mental health through the lens of motherhood, but also get to the reality of what we’re not talking about related to mental health. While Sasha shares some vulnerable truths about her experience, which was incredibly refreshing and needed in the larger conversation about this topic, I hope you feel empowered to know that you’re not alone!
We also talk about:
- Her relationship with motherhood
- Living in your truth versus happiness
- Taking accountability for your joy
- When she knew she had to get help for her mental health
- Her experience with post partem
- Shifting away from being the strong friend
- How to ask for help

Let's Talk About Following Your Heart
If you’re reading this right now, you might be contemplating a life-altering decision of some sort. Whether it’s big or small you have this pull to follow your heart to make said decision, but you might be a little scared to do so and I get it. Following your heart can bring up an elixir of feelings, but deep down you know something needs to change.
In this solo episode, I’m sharing a personal life update about moving out of the tri-state area and the process I took to make that big decision. In a culture where logic dominates the conversation, this episode is an invitation for you to do the scary thing. My hope is that you’ll reflect on that thing pulling at your heart and make the decision that’s best for you.
We also talk about:
- Why I left the tri-state area and moved to a place I’ve never been before
- How to use our body as a decision-making tool
- Cultivating our intuitive practice of self-trust
- Why being right isn’t the goal in following your heart
- Accepting that life changes
- Living in a generation of change

5 Ways to Get to Know Yourself
Self-awareness is one of the most talked about words and concepts in the healing space right now. From how to be more self-aware to what hinders us from being self-aware, it can cause a lot of us to ask ourselves the question, “How much do I know myself?” And if we don’t know the answer to that question, it can bring up a lot of shame as we look around to see the perception of other people knowing about themselves when we don’t.
In this solo episode, I’m sharing five tools that have helped me garner a better understanding of myself and that have given me permission to dive deeper into who I am. This is one of those episodes where you’re going to want a notepad and a pen to take some notes as you prepare to explore the core essence of who you are!
We also talk about:
- What it means to me to be self-aware
- A deep dive into what I’ve learned about myself through astrology and human design
- Different forms of therapy and how to choose the type that’s right for you
- How relationships can act as mirrors to an understanding of yourself
- Getting out and living your life
- Self-awareness and being a kid again
