Matt Brady is a character that I'm likely never going to be able to shake. This podcast was our first encounter, and it has to be one of my most favorite "first time" meetings that I've ever had.
Matt has a zest for life. He just says yeah to it all...so much so, that he has SAY YEAH tattooed on his derrière. His way of life has sparked a small fire and as of today, 20 other people have followed suit and tattooed the same manifesto on their bums, too.
Beyond the tattoo on his buttocks, Matt is well traveled, quite brilliant (in my humble opinion), and one of the greatest story tellers I have had on the show yet.
Sitting with him was an absolute joy, and I hope you all pressure him into starting his own podcast, simply because, he needs one.
Until he is pressured into starting his very own podcast, you can find him on his brand new instagram account @saysyeah.
....And I think one of our biggest hopes out of this conversation is that one of you out there in "listener land" (....I'm channeling Matt Brady himself here....) gets this manifesto tattooed on your booty, takes a photo, sends it to Matt and myself, and our lives will be made.
Just say yeah, kids, say yeah.

This week is SOLO style and we're talking all things meditation.
Meditation is something I've done consistently for a decade now. The methods and routines I've used in that time have changed as much as the wind, but I have finally found my bread and butter of meditation. This episode is explaining my process and the story behind how it all started for me.
The meditation practice that I've landed on is what I go back to time after time, because it just works. It's simple. It's doable. It's straight to the point.
The music that I listen do during prayer and meditation that I referenced in this specific episode is called, Above and Beyond: Flow State.

Cara Loren is a mega blogger turned business owner, and today she lets us in on how this all started out for her.
We go back to her early days when she shot photos behind her and her husbands old apartment shed, and she lets us in on how she felt when things really started taking off for her.
We go in depth on the diagnosis of her son, Hanes, diagnosis of Type 1 diabetes that happened just 6 months ago, and how the family is adapting to their new normal.
One thing is apparent...Cara has always been impeccable with her timing and listens to her gut when she’s feeling the need to shift the focus of her blog and Instagram.
Even when people around her didn’t exactly see her vision, she forged on anyway. She shuts out the naysayers, keeps focused, and continues to share with the world whatever she is most truly into, in the actual moment that it's happening for her, and I think this approach has (obviously!) worked out wonderfully for her.
You can find her on Instagram: @caraloren
