This wonderfully intelligent and amazing woman ran for a school board seat. She lost not on her authority, but unfortunately on choosing to listen to the directions of campaign types that muted her authenticity and seemed to make her come off like any another candidate.

I still leave this episode up for what she stood for early in the campaign and how she started on such a great footing.

Orange County School Board Candidate Dayna Gaut shares her views on education is the title of The Wait What Really OK Brand Messaging Podcast, s5.E7.#103 hosted by Brand Messaging Strategist Loren Weisman.

Educational Steward and Liaison Dayna Gaut shares her views on education, ending the school year now and the removal of state testing for students.

Dayna Gaut brings a connecting and engaging take to education and education in this stay at home time. A candidate for the Orange County School Board District 4 in Florida, Dayna shares an array of information that is wonderful for her district but also for other schools around the country. Her views are anchored in the children of course, but she also is looking at the bigger picture from the parents to the teachers to the administration.

She is a proponent of ending the school year now. She believes that the state testing for students is doing more harm than good and she wants to see better relationships and a greater understanding between parents and teachers.

A Doctoral Candidate with a focus on Educational Leadership, Dayna Gaut believes that communication and understanding between the parents, teachers and the administration can create the catalyst that is needed for the change that can create the greatest impact in the long run.

And it is not about parents doing more. Some are fine where they are. It is about understanding what parents can and can not do, just as what teachers can and can not do as well. A balance in understanding can create the shifts to reduce stress, increase learning and bring out the best in everyone.

Even in the quarantine, she shares an empathetic view with parents and wants them to know they are doing just fine.

Dayna states "even though so many are feeling overwhelmed, parents are doing a good enough job with schooling right now. They are more than enough! Most parents are unaware that it is not distance learning. This is emergency schooling which is an entirely different animal that we've never seen before."

One of the things she brought up was that she would be involved regardless of the win, I hope even in the loss, she does follow through.

Orange County School Board Candidate Dayna Gaut shares. s5.E7.#103.

Have you noticed some people change, some people stay the exact same and some people just flat out amaze you.

Coronavirus Character Traits. Some can see your true colors is the title of The Brand Messaging Podcast Wait What Really OK S6.E01.N104 hosted by Brand Messaging Strategist Loren Weisman.

The Coronavirus character traits that have shown through in the past month and some is the focus on this episode. This Brand Messaging Podcast Wait What Really OK S6.E01.N104 is hosted by brand messaging strategist Loren Weisman.

In the wake of the Coronavirus, the quarantine and stay at home orders as well as the loss of income and income, many have shown a different side to themselves. It is not all negative though. Some have shown some pretty spectacular true colors in their humility, integrity and love for others. Still on the opposite end of the spectrum, we have seen some of the ones that claim to be the kindest, the most loving, caring and giving, become the exact polar opposite.

In this experience, it allows us to have a deeper look at the red flags that might have been there before with certain individuals as well as the positive flags that showcased the signs of individuals with honor that act, work and talk in the mode of love even when there is a toil level of fear all around.

It is a good idea in this time to look at the themes, the patterns and the changes in those both close and only in business as well. And to learn this before getting to heavy involved with a partnership or a venture can save you worlds of trouble down the line.

Take note of those that changed their tune, just as you note those that stayed the course as well as those that stepped up too. It is a great test to learn about those true colors and how people operate in different circumstances. Which in turn, can make this whole experience while, painful, heartbreaking and challenging for so many, also an intense and wonderful learning experience at the same time.

I am sorry things suck. But suck it up. Personal problem posting.
The FSG Messaging and Optics Podcast Wait What Really OK Episode 56 is hosted by Messaging and Optics Strategist Loren Weisman. Loren talks about those that talk too much about personal problems online. While sharing certain problems can be one thing, there are so many that are sharing way too many issues and hurting their online foot print. Not to mention, it just comes off like that Alexander and the horrible, terrible, very bad day... everyday!
Finding a happy medium between sharing a few thoughts, rants or issues and just making everyday a sob fest needs to happen. Otherwise that whole “Bye Felicia” experience is going to come out in full force with your existing contacts.
Then when you think about potential new customers or people connecting with you for the first time. Would you really want some one to see just how awful things are, how unfair people are, how nothing is working for you? And on that same note, how could that possibly make them want to work with you?
I am sorry things suck and I am not saying to present something that is picture perfect and false. But, having a little privacy and keeping the professional that much more professional will drive better results.
While I am sorry things suck, you can make them suck that much less by not coming off like a whiner, complainer or someone that is negative all the time.
Buck it up. Suck it up. And move on up.
I am sorry things suck. But suck it up. Personal problem posting is the title for episode 56.

Wait What Really OK with Loren Weisman - Transparency and accountability in air conditioning repair?
play

10/25/20 • 27 min

Transparency and accountability in air conditioning repair? Is the topic and touch point for s8. E3. n125. of the Wait What Really OK Messaging and Optics podcast.
From air conditioning repair to any other kind of repair service, often times the communication is off for both the provider and the customer. With a mutual awareness of the others perception, comes a faster resolve and better transparency.
In accountability for both sides in the initial conversation, better expectations can be set.
On the other side, to not jump to immediate conclusions, and asking for the details to ensure that accountability is in place, can help the customer make a better choice and allow for a better vetting of the right provider.
In my most recent experience, after the air went out and we decided to connect with Henry from Ice Heating and Air in Orlando, Florida, it wasn’t just the price, but the professionalism, communication, accountability and clarity to define what he found, what could be done and what couldn’t. The experience inspired this podcast. And in a normally, incredibly stressful situation, working with Henry and Ice Heating and Air was an experience I rarely have. His attention to detail, style of communication and down to earth way of explaining as well as backing up his explanations created a fast and well-earned trust.

Messaging and Optics Strategist Speaker Talk Title Sheet for me. Do you have yours? The FSG Messaging Podcast Wait What Really OK Episode 65 is hosted by Messaging and Optics Strategist Loren Weisman. Loren talks about his talk titles and how to create your own if you are a speaker.
Short videos are great and something in your bio that says you also speak can work for some, but do you have a talk title sheet as well as a more detailed outline to show people what you talk on and the bullets in the talk helps.
From getting the gig to helping them market the gig, these sheets can be a big factor in getting you that speaking date while also helping to market to that many more people about what you are speaking on.
Make it easier on everyone and give them the tools and information to make booking you as a speaker a strong choice. And on the same note, if you can’t create these documents or have to fake this information, you might not be ready to be a speaker on a given topic quite yet.

Is PEMF objectively proven or a subjective pseudoscience? The topic and touch point for s8. E9. n132. of the FSG Brand Messaging Podcast, Wait What Really OK.

PEMF Therapy has been on the scene for longer than some people realize, however with mixed messages, mixed signals and a series of very strong opinions mixed with the results and factual data, it is still not completely understood. Tim Daniels shares intelligence on the proven elements as well as some of the stereotypes and assumptions that have been associated with PEMF with Loren Weisman.

“Pulsed electromagnetic field therapy, also known as low field magnetic stimulation uses electromagnetic fields in an attempt to heal non-union fractures and depression. By 2007 the FDA had cleared several such stimulation devices” – Wikipedia

Tim Daniels also answers the question Is all PEMF created equal as well as discussing the areas it might help with and the range of usage and application.

I have also been testing the waters with PEMF Therapy and will share some of my PEMF experience in this conversation as well.

“I am not slowly electrocuting myself.” – Loren Weisman

For additional information or if you want to learn more with someone that is well versed, vetted and verified in this field, I ask you to consider to reach out to this guest, Tim Daniels. His email is [email protected].
