Welcome to a Very Good Social Media podcast where we try to live up to that name every day. Ten-year social media vet and LinkedIn Top Content Strategy Voice Zach Galia introduces you to some of the brightest minds behind the social media presence of the biggest brands on the planet. From the biggest agencies to your favorite sports teams, these people have an incredible amount of knowledge to share. A Very Good Social Media podcast is an aspirational title. We not only hope to create some very good content featuring the incredible people behind the biggest brands on the planet. We also hope to give the next generation of creators and visionaries some very good insight and advice in their journey. We want to help and empower people in their journey, continually challenging themselves, being okay with taking risks, learning to get back up, and striving to be better each day has become our life’s mission. We hope to create a platform for everyone to learn. Whether you’ve been in the industry for a decade or are a senior in high school with dreams of working for your favorite team, this will be a place where knowledge is shared and curiosity rules. We all love those big fancy titles next to our names, but we want to share what each of them mean and highlight the people working tirelessly in those roles. There are so many talented people that don’t get their shine, but this light will be pointed directly at them. We want to give them a platform to tell their story, talk about their roles, the industry as a whole (and sudden changes to it), and provide the next generation with nuggets of wisdom as they take the steps on their own. All of our journeys are inherently different, but there are similarities that connect our paths. The creative and strategic process is also fascinating and ever-changing. At VGSM, we hope to showcase how the experts think about everyone’s favorite industry buzzwords in an open forum. Not digging into any company secrets, but how the visionaries see social media and what might be next. Lastly, we want this to be a place to share. Whether it be success or failure in leadership, navigating this industry as a parent, tools that you can’t live without, books you can’t put down, or simply maintaining balance in a world of chaos, this is a place to share together.
