Unscripted with Spencer Lodge - #213: Eradicating Homelessness In The UK With Fundraising Cafés

#213: Eradicating Homelessness In The UK With Fundraising Cafés

11/14/22 • 57 min

Unscripted with Spencer Lodge

Josh Littlejohn MBE is a social entrepreneur and the founder of Social Bite in the UK. Social Bite started as a small chain of sandwich shops that began offering jobs and free food to homeless people. To date, Social Bite has employed over 100 homeless people and hands over 140,000 meals each year to those in need. I was inspired by Josh’s story and invited him onto the show to understand the homelessness problem in the UK, the solutions available, why people become homeless, and how Josh and his team are slowly combatting it. Josh’s journey is an incredibly inspiring story that will leave you feeling motivated to give back and create a better world around you.
