- measuring your food
- counting your macros
- not going out to eat with friends
- focusing on not eating the damn cookies
But in the end...
Your diet didn't work.
You did all the things...
And yes they worked for a little bit...
But long term the weight just came back.

Women try and try and try to lose weight only to end up on the diet rollercoaster of hell and not losing weight.
That sucks...and none of us want to be there.
I know you have probably heard me say, "All diets work" and mathematically they do...

How To Handle Urges When You Want To Lose Weight
Urges... everybody gets them...but it's how you handle them that makes all the difference. Now...knowing that doesn't make them any less of a pain in the ass... but urges are manageable I promise. If you're somebody who is trying to lose weight, and more importantly, wants to keep it off forever, learning about urges, what they are, why you might have them, and what to do about them is going to be a game changer. The problem with urges is that we THINK they cause us to eat even when we aren't actually hungry. The key to long term weight loss is to be able to differentiate when we are physically hungry from when we are emotionally hungry. Planning ahead for our favorite foods and also taking the moral judgement off of foods is going to help you LESSEN the feeling that comes with the urge to eat. If you are struggling with eating off plan, eating because other people are eating, eating because your are tired, bored or just in the habit of eating every night after dinner it might be time to figure out what is really going on. By the way, I love eating. All humans do. But I also like fitting into my clothes, sleeping well, and not feeling obsessed with food... So if that is YOU too ....
