We all get a kid who probes our weakness
Just continuing the reflections on parenting whilst I’m putting my 1 year old to sleep (you will hear him)... I’m thinking about how much I have always loved sleep, somehow it feels like my children have been designed specifically to train me out of the need for it. I think it’s been 10 years now since I slept properly (I’m not even joking 🙃).. I can’t wait to sleep again in life 😴 😭

The truth about breastfeeding
So I’ve breastfed three children and I’ve had every type of experience with it, like the good, the bad and the toe curling ugly. I’ve learnt a multiple range of skills from being a breastfeeding peer supporter and a friend to many who have needed breastfeeding support. Its a skill that we can assume will come naturally but often it doesn’t and requires a good amount of patience, self control and support. So now I finally say goodbye forever to my own breastfeeding journey, here’s my truth.
