Episode 35; Carol Jenkins-Davis and Friedericke Fechner
Welcome to all of our new subscribers and listeners, and we thank our whole Crime Family for being here again! Week 35's stories have made our blood boil, and then made us hopeful in remembering there are some really amazing people in the world.
We'll just warn you: Bailey's story had us so angry that there is more than our normal swearing in this episode. But if you hear the story of the disgraceful and barbaric murder of Carol Jenkins-Davis, along with the aftermath and shameful treatment by the 'Sundown Town' of Martinsville, Indiana, and you're not angry...something's wrong.
Beth has the second story this week, with cellist Friedericke Fechner, who bought a dilapidated old house to renovate and preserve, and through its history, helped reunite a family whose scattered members didn't think they had any other living relatives.
So, it's a bit of rough one, but we know you're tough enough to get through it with us. We're sorry there are no Puss interruptions in the bloopers this week, I think she knew our nerves were shot after that first story.
And now, we need a glass of wine. Care to join us? No worries, I mean, it's a BnB. You can crash here until you're good to drive.

Episode 36; Sandra Johnsen-Hughes and Verna Sue White
Welcome back to week 36 at the True Crime BnB, Crime Family!
This week Bailey walks us through the perplexing disappearance of Sandra Johnsen-Hughes in California. Having spent her life as an avid solo-explorer, the circumstances of her last known whereabouts and mysterious disappearance in a National Park leave countless questions unanswered.
Beth brings an amazing story of survival against all the odds. Verna Sue White had no chance against the masked man who viciously attacked her in her home, but once he had threatened her daughter, Verna Sue was never going to let him prevail. And that was the turning point, sealing his fate.
And on top of all that, we have an amusing anecdote about old-timey pirates!
So as always, we love you and thank you for stopping back at the ol' True Crime BnB, and we are ready to share this week's stories with you. The snacks are out, the beverages are ready, and it's time to kick off your shoes and take in a few minutes of true crime, on us.
Meow.
