A Killer Close To Home / The Murder Of Patricia Curran - Part 1
They Walk Among Us - UK True Crime
05/21/23 • 48 min
Patricia had taken the bus from Belfast to Whiteabbey, where her family’s sprawling mansion, Glen House, stood at the top of a winding, tree-lined lane. It was a journey Patricia made numerous times before, but she always called ahead for an escort to guide her up the dark driveway. This particular evening, something was different. Patricia never made that call, and she never made it home. Her disappearance set off a frenzied investigation that would ultimately expose the dark underbelly of the elite, a world where power and privilege are used to protect the guilty and condemn the innocent... PLEASE LISTEN TO ‘SEASON 4 - EPISODE 27 & EPISODE 28’ FOR PART ONE AND TWO OF THIS FOUR-PART CASE.
In November 2002, there appeared to be some movement on the case. Following a speech by the queen, it was announced there were plans to remove the double jeopardy law across England and Wales in which a person could not be tried twice for the same offence. The changes announced were retrospective, which meant that the murders at Wild Park could be reinvestigated. (Part 3 of 4).

The Criminology Killer / Amie Gray & Leanne Miles / Nasen Saadi
They Walk Among Us - UK True Crime
06/04/25 • 66 min
The full moon painted the sea in silver; its light rippling gently across the water. From his perch on West Cliff, a local photographer heard sudden screams from the shoreline below. The darkness concealed whatever was unfolding. He was puzzled but not alarmed. The screams stopped almost as quickly as they had started. Not overly concerned, he packed up his equipment and began heading home. As he turned, a figure peeled away from the shadows near the top of the steps leading down to the beach. The young man passed beneath a streetlight, and something about his facial expression struck fear into the photographer...
