I decided to now in the spirit of transparency and authenticity. But in addition to all the craziness of life right now with parenting and running my businesses, I’m also going on a divorce. And unfortunately, it is a high conflict divorce, mostly in part because it involves my companies. That’s why episode 28 of This Green Planet is about Growing a company through a divorce!
In this episode of This Green Planet, I’m sharing the importance of knowing the information you need before there’s a crisis and actionable steps you can take right now to protect your business.
I cover some of the following topics:
- Legalities behind a divorce with business owners/participants
- Financial issues that arise when you get divorced
- How a divorce is like a crisis, and crisis management tips for your business
- How to create a Plan of Action and why you need one
These are unfortunately only things I learned about before it was too late, but had I done before then I probably would have saved myself lots of grief. Be sure to tune in to all the episodes to receive tons of practical tips on sustainable, STEM business practices and to hear even more about the points outlined above.
Thank you for listening!
