Content Warning: This episode contains either some new legendary argumentative moments on the podcast or very probably the stupidest. We go to 1856, where Scottish-Australian James Harrison invents the fridge, American mercenary takes control of Nicaragua, pre-human remains are found in Neanderthal Valley in Prussia, and the Battle of Black Jack, antislavery forces, led by John Brown, defeat proslavery forces in Bleeding Kansas. Also Bobby has been experiencing incontinence, and what's the difference between a fridge an ice house, neanderthals and humans, and Prussia vs Russia?

The Year Is - The Year Is AD 30 With Alasdair Beckett-King
play

06/29/22 • 80 min

Strap into the time machine and shotgun a comfortable seat as we are going all the way back almost 2000 years to AD 30, and what better guest to have join us than the the very funny and very nice but also argumentative Alasdair Beckett-King. A year primarily known for being when Jesus Christ of Nazareth was crucified, as well as either John the Baptist or Jon Batiste being beheaded, and "Dick of the Year" Caligula escapes exile and death along with his siblings after his mother is arrested. We also hear about Alasdair's many online feuds, and Bobby and Red try and come up with various methods to get the podcast more attention.
