Who am I?

I am a video podcast producer and editor, working primarily in comedy, but also finance and food. I also create social content, videos and images for podcasts. My favourite podcasts are comedy, there are a lot of comedy podcasts I listen to but how often do I actually laugh at them, whilst listening and if it’s super funny, then I can’t help myself and making a fool of myself on the bus or on the tube or train.

What is my podcast playlist about?

This playlist is about laughing, laughing so much, you make a fool of yourself in public and keep coming back for more, and love so much you share with your friends because you want them to experience the same joy that you did listening to it.

The podcasts I picked and why

1. The Year Is

Why this podcast?

An incredibly funny and silly and informative podcast which over promises on what it will deliver in terms of history and is so funny you will find yourself laughing out loud on public transport. The research is sparse , Is frequently factually incorrect and no questions are allowed as the hosts don’t know more than what they are reading from Wikipedia.

5.0

Comedian and actor Gilbert Gottfried, a man Stephen King once called “a national treasure,” talks with the show business legends, icons and behind-the-scenes talents who shaped his childhood and influenced his comedy. Along with co-host and fellow pop culture fanatic Frank Santopadre, Gilbert is joined by comics, actors, musicians, talk show hosts, writers and other eyewitnesses to Hollywood history, including Bruce Dern, Chevy Chase, “Weird Al” Yankovic, Adam West, Steve Buscemi, Micky Dolenz, Jim Gaffigan, Judd Apatow and DOZENS more, for a funny, frenetic, fly-on-the-wall look at showbiz then and now (but mostly then.) Gilbert Gottfried’s Amazing Colossal Podcast was named "Best Podcast of 2015" by the Village Voice and one of iTunes' "Best of 2014." It has been featured in Rolling Stone, Wired and the Los Angeles Times.

3. Dead Men Talking

Why this podcast?

More obscene dark humour, that you will cringe and blush whilst listening to. There is a warning at the beginning of the show, do not listen if you think you may be offended. Not do the faint hearted.

4. Fly on the Wall with Dana Carvey and David Spade

Why this podcast?

One of my new favourite podcasts, listening to SNL legends Dana Carvey and David Spade talk to other SNL legends about the business of comedy. Some incredibly huge guests that you don’t hear elsewhere

Every Wednesday, longtime pals David Spade and Dana Carvey take you behind the curtain of showbiz as they hang out and chat with friends (old and new) from all corners of the entertainment world. Be a “Fly on the Wall” as the guys and their guests share stories, tell jokes, do characters and talk SNL lore – there’s a little something for everyone. On Fridays, join Dana and David for Superfly, this time with or WITHOUT guests, to riff on current events, pop culture, trending clips, and audience submissions. Kick back, relax, and enjoy the comedy, absurdity, and impressions from your favorite duo. Full video episodes of Superfly are available on YouTube. Fly on the Wall and Superfly with Dana Carvey and David Spade are presented by Audacy.

Why this podcast?

A brand new podcast, all about crisps or chips, does not take itself seriously at all and found a niche that nobody knew they wanted but has a lot of passionate fans of crisps and chips and flavourings and testing them and when’s the best time to eat them, which occasions, and introduces the new festival everyone wants to go to, DipFest!
