Podcaster Q&A
Tell us about yourself – what is your background?
I’m Andrea, a creative soul with a love for storytelling, quiet reflection, and the little moments that make life feel magical. I’ve worked in fashion and luxury retail for years, but I’ve always used imagination and self-expression as a way to process and explore life. Whether it’s through design, words, or daydreams, I’m drawn to anything that feels soulful and honest.
Why did you get into podcasting?
I started podcasting as a way to slow down and reconnect—with myself, with dreams I used to have, and with the kind of life I still want to create. Golden Hour Thoughts is like a personal journal in audio form, a place to breathe, reflect, and imagine better days. It’s not about being perfect or teaching anything—just sharing a little peace in a noisy world.
How did the idea for the show come about?
The idea came to me after a long day at work, when all I wanted was to lie down, breathe, and let my thoughts wander—without pressure or noise. I realised I craved something soft and reflective, like a conversation with myself that others might relate to. That’s how Golden Hour Thoughts began—a podcast that feels like a warm pause at the end of the day.
What do you hope listeners take from the show?
I hope it makes them feel seen, calm, and a little more connected to their own quiet dreams. Not everything has to be rushed or figured out. Sometimes, just slowing down and letting your thoughts flow is exactly what you need. If someone walks away from an episode feeling even 5% lighter… that’s everything.
What's been the biggest challenge for you?
Staying consistent while juggling a full-time job and a creative life. Some days I have a million ideas and no time, and others I have all the time and just want to rest. But I remind myself this podcast isn’t about hustle—it’s about alignment. And that helps me keep going, even when it’s slow.
How can your listeners support your show?
Honestly? Just listening means the world. But if something resonates, sharing it with a friend, following the show, or leaving a kind review really helps. Even one message from someone who felt understood makes it all worth it.
Any future plans that you'd like to share?
I’m exploring ways to blend more visuals, storytelling, and dream-building ideas into the show. Maybe even bonus episodes that feel like little guided daydreams. I also have a jewelry brand I pour a lot of love into—so who knows, maybe one day the two worlds will meet.
Anything else you'd like to share?
Just that you’re not behind. If you’re listening to this kind of podcast, chances are… you’re already more in tune with yourself than you think. And that’s beautiful. Thanks for being here with me.
