A remarkable achievement was accomplished by Brigadier Elizabeth 'Lizzie' Faithfull-Davies as she became the first female to reach Robin Hood's Bay during the 2023 SILVA Northern Traverse. Lizzie finished the race in 58 hours and 23 minutes, securing an overall 8th position. This victory marked Lizzie's first major race win, following her previous successes in podium finishes at the Winter and Summer Spine Races.
