Episode 65: Make Your Own Luck
03/17/22 • 7 min

When you think of Ireland what comes to mind? Guiness, horse racing, the color green? Or maybe Lucky Charms, four-leaf clovers, and that elusive pot of gold at the end of a rainbow?
Ireland is often associated with symbols of luck and fortune, so in this episode, to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, I explain how you can make your own luck to further your career and your business.
You might think some people are just born lucky, but have you ever considered why that might be? Mindset matters, so I am sharing with you a few ways to create your own luck, including:
- Change your state of mind.
- Be confident in yourself.
- Build your network and socialize.
Good luck can be made, so it’s time to stop going green over others’ ‘lucky breaks’ and start making some of your own!
Here are the highlights from this episode:
(01:13) Luck is a state of mind
(02:24) It wasn’t meant to be
(03:45) Don’t be fearful
(04:32) Look at luck as stepping stones
(05:37) Believe it’s possible to have what you want
