Through his coaching, he helps leaders build their leadership on Kingdom principles, aligning their influence with biblical values for lasting impact.
Justin and I met at a Teen Challenge Banquet about 15 years ago. During that time unbeknownst to me he just lost his son, Tristen. It was Tristen's death that would bring Justin's life of drugs and alcohol to a holt and how a judge showed Justin grace by allowing him to join Teen Challenge. Listen in today as Justin recounts his life of grief and how God was always there waiting for him.

23 | Rose L. Horton- #notonmywatch
Rose L. Horton, MSM, RNC-OB, NEA-BC, FAAN, stands as a powerful advocate for maternal health, serving multiple roles including board member of Healthy BirthDay, and president of the Association of Women's Health Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN). Her frustration with the alarming rise in maternal morbidity and mortality led her to take action in 2017. Drawing from her own experiences and the painful stories of countless women who faced preventable tragedies, Rose coined the viral hashtag #NotOnMyWatch as a rallying cry for nurses and healthcare professionals everywhere. This initiative served not only as a reminder of the essential qualities of nursing—compassion, listening, respect, and evidence-based care—but also aimed to rekindle the very heart and soul of the profession. Her commitment to transforming care practices emphasizes that every woman deserves to be treated with dignity, believed in, and effectively advocated for, regardless of the circumstances.
As a loss mom herself, Rose understands the profound impact of grief and the importance of self-compassion. She reminds us that, 'Grief will last a lifetime, so make sure to give yourself some grace,' a sentiment that resonates deeply with many who navigate the complexities of loss and healing. Her work has inspired countless nurses to remember their calling and the transformational power of empathetic care. Through initiatives like #NotOnMyWatch, Rose L. Horton is not only changing the dialogue around maternal health but also reshaping the experiences of women across the healthcare system, ensuring that no woman’s voice goes unheard. Her tireless advocacy exemplifies the need for continuous improvement and mindfulness in the care provided to expectant mothers, reminding us all that behind every statistic lies a human life, deserving of respect and dignity.
Rose L. Horton can be found on her website NotOnMyWatch, her social media and here.

25 | What to Say or Do when someone has lost a baby in Miscarriage, Stillbirth or Early Infant Loss.
Today I share some helpful information on how to have a conversation with someone who has had a loss. When we hear of someone who has lost a baby sometimes we want to say something encouraging and unfortunately, its not. We want to take a step back and pray about what we want to say.
This podcast was taken from this video i made in 2018 for the Julianna Grace Ministry. It has guided and helped many people and churches to properly minister to someone who is grieving.
