E177 – A Sacred Journey with Ash Marshall-O'Dell
10/25/21 • 31 min
The name of this podcast, The Roller Coaster, came from observing the natural ebb and flow of life. Regardless of who you are, life has its ups and downs, it has challenges and opportunities. Often, we’re called to be resilient and adapt to the flow of change. I’ll be the first to admit that it’s easier said than done.
Joining me today is Ash Marshall-O'Dell, Spiritual leader, Reiki Master & teacher, Light Worker, and author, to chat about how we can grow ourselves in new ways and expand our resiliency, capability, and belief in ourselves.

E176 - Lessons From Survivor 41 with Brad Reese
I still remember the first time I watched Survivor, a new reality show. It was 1999 and Liam was a few months old, he slept quietly in his baby swing. Jeff was out for the night. I was instantly hooked, and Survivor weaved itself into our lives becoming a date night for Jeff and I. We would make a big plate of nachos and greedily eat them while watching each episode unfold.
Fast forward 22 years, Survivor 41, episode 3. One player resonated with me, Brad Reese with his signature smile and authenticity. Brad had a great mindset, unfortunately, that was the episode where he got voted off.
As the show ended, I turned to Jeff and said “I want to interview Brad”. The next day I tracked him down and sent him an email, inviting him on the show. A few days later, CBS emailed me back to schedule an interview.
There’s a small glitch in the audio where our internet became unstable but I left it in because this is The Roller Coaster, where real life happens.

E178 – Shadow Work with Nikki Colmone
Carl Jung wrote, “Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate.” As humans, we let our past trauma and pain hide in the shadows. True healing comes when we shine a light on our shadows to reveal the hidden messages that have been shaping us through our subconscious mind.
Joining me today is Nikki Colmone, to share how we can heal from trauma, depression, and anxiety with Shadow work.
