In this fortnight’s episode we were very fortunate to have Molly Tipping as a special guest to discuss Consent in the context of tactile cueing.
Molly started her Pilates journey in 2000, and in 2008 started her private practice specialising in sensory movement. Molly now helps professional dancers and Olympic athletes deal with anxiety, enabling them to perform at their highest level.
During our discussion, Molly rightly points out many industries are currently addressing the issue of “too touch, or not to touch’ and reframes touch as a gift and a choice, some may like tactile cueing, whilst another person may find ‘it doesn’t work for me’.
Molly provides numerous practical tactile cueing options for Studio Owners, Instructors and enthusiasts to navigate this sensitive topic.
