Anne Barnes talks about her unbelievable journey through 3 miscarriages that lead to her now happy, healthy, and nearly finished pregnancy.
The pain of a miscarriage is a pain that Anne Barnes of Towanda, IL (formerly Anne Garcia of Fairbury, IL) knows all too well. She has experienced the heartbreak of losing a baby during pregnancy an astounding three times in her still marriage of just under three years. By the grace of God, however, Anne is now, for the first time in her life, healthily pregnant and entering the 3rd trimester (over 6 months)!
In this conversation, Anne bravely walks us through her journey, the medical reasons for her failed pregnancies, the feelings and emotions she felt after her first, second, and third failed pregnancies, her battles with her faith, and her husband’s role throughout the process, and much more. I deeply admire Anne’s bravery in coming onto my show to discuss her very personal experience, and I also love her very much and am proud to call her my sister.
Anne’s story is one of incredible sadness and even more incredible hope, faith, and even a miracle! She and her husband, Patrick, visited The National Shrine of Our Lady of Good Help in New Franken, Wisconsin after a long bout of miscarrying and failing to get pregnant. The two are devout Catholics and credit this pregnancy to God firstly, and also to the Blessed Virgin Mary's prayers for them. Their story is sure to tug on your heartstrings and lift your spirits.

A Naperville native and now student at ISU, Kevin is the host of the Saturday afternoon radio show “Speechless” on Cities 92.9, a Business Strategist for Great Plains Media, and the President of the Turning Point USA Chapter at Illinois State University.
