In this episode, @tete.depunk and I, @fortunusgames, explore how a 2016 roleplay between Ardalion and Natalia changed her views on male sexuality. Needless to say, the role play was a pivotal turning point for her, because it transformed her entire outlook on male sexuality in broad terms and in very specific terms. Prior to the role play, Tete had a lot of misconceptions and misinformed biases which led her to create, in her words, "stilted and soulless characters steeped in idealism, like innocent fairy tales, not actual human souls." Here, we explore how the role-play came to be!

EP 95: Developing Joel's Sexuality (3): What I've Learned

1 Recommendations

In this episode, Tete and I, Fortunus Games, talk about my character, Joel Farber, from my graphic novel, "The Book of Joel" (which you can read here: https://www.fortunusgames.com/current-projects).

Artwork in thumbnail is by me.

Specifically, this is part 3 of me and @tete.depunk’s episodes about Joel’s sexuality. In this episode, we'll talk about how Joel’s sexuality is self-contained and how others perceive his sexuality, even when he is a self-denier who wants to remain single. We will also, of course, talk about how Malka perceives his sexuality during this time and how her perceptions develop as they get closer.

EP 96: Developing Malka's Sexuality (2): Why She Likes Joel

In this episode, @tete.depunk and I, @fortunusgames, talk about my character, Malka Spitzer, from my graphic novel, "The Book of Joel" (which you can read here: https://www.fortunusgames.com/current-projects).

Artwork in thumbnail is by me. It's the cover page for Chapter 4 of "The Book of Joel."

We discuss the following and more:

  • What does Malka find attractive about Joel?
  • Has Malka always found Joel sexually alluring? Why or why not?
  • How does Malka perceive Joel's self-contained sexuality?
  • Is Malka frustrated by Joel's self-denial and self-contained-ness? How would she react to some of his thoughts (if she found out about them) about "minimalistic living"?
  • What does Malka find irritating about Joel?
  • What's Malka and Joel's sex life like? How does it compare to the sex in "bodice ripper" novels?
