In this podcast episode, me and @helevorn_bor do a recap of the interview I had with Pure Arts Group (site: https://www.pureartsgroup.co.uk)!
Last week, I had an amazing interview with Pure Arts Group about how I got started on my creative journey. We talked about the role that deviantArt and Tapas played and also discussed how my personal life affected my decision to throw myself into writing Sam and Joel's stories.
Check out their YouTube channel to watch the full interview: https://youtu.be/U8YtXrFFU88
I also posted about this on my blog: https://www.fortunusgames.com/post/pure-art360-edition-3-live-imelda-wei-ding-lo-and-lesley-samms

EP 94: Writing Contemporary Fiction (2): "Equilibrium Point"
Watch on YouTube: https://youtu.be/qduZ3SlYCeM
On this episode of The Nuts and Bolts of Writing, @fortunusgames and @helevorn_bor will be discussing Helevorn's novel "Equilibrium Point" for the first time!
"Equilibrium Point" began as a challenge, as an Alternative History (AU) version of Helevorn's Viking Age novel "Lucky Wolf", but then developed into a stand-alone novel set in present day Norway. Less dramatic, more realistic, deeper from a psychological standpoint, "Equilibrium Point" is a slice-of-life story that explores new themes and puts the characters in situations we haven't seen them in.
Can an AU be a deep and complex story? What do you think?

EP 95: Developing Joel's Sexuality (3): What I've Learned
In this episode, Tete and I, Fortunus Games, talk about my character, Joel Farber, from my graphic novel, "The Book of Joel" (which you can read here: https://www.fortunusgames.com/current-projects).
Artwork in thumbnail is by me.
Specifically, this is part 3 of me and @tete.depunk’s episodes about Joel’s sexuality. In this episode, we'll talk about how Joel’s sexuality is self-contained and how others perceive his sexuality, even when he is a self-denier who wants to remain single. We will also, of course, talk about how Malka perceives his sexuality during this time and how her perceptions develop as they get closer.
