I am enjoying dark chocolate in this episode and a cup of fruit tea. My dad went to have his toe dressing removed today and a new one put on. My uncle died recently and my aunt calls to inform me that she has a cupboard of useful pads and things that Dad might find helpful.

NE2025 – We Must Leave The EU

It is time to leave the EU. Four hundred years ago brother might have fought brother with swords and muskets over this. Today we fight with argument. I do believe we are a great nation. Before we joined the EU we were fabulous nation and proud of who we were. We were distinctive and a people to be reckoned with. We made the rules and took the decisions. I think we should do that again. We can think for ourselves, thank you very much.

I had a lovely birthday up at Harriet’s house in Shrewsbury. A lovely escape from my Dad and his dementia. Thanks for the birthdays wishes and cards. My sister held the fort while I was away, but it was pretty full on for her, particularly at night, so we need to formulate a plan to look after my dad better.
