Christopher and Lyndsay Jones live in an RV. That’s it, that’s all there is… nothing else interesting here. I mean, why did I even… wait, what? You’re handing this to me now? I’m recording this live onto the hard drive, and that’s when you hand this to me? These imaginary assistants are just not very good help, maybe I should actually get some virtual assistants. Okay, what was I saying? Oh, right! Yes, Chris and Lyndsay live in an RV, but they are SO MUCH MORE! The two are now traveling around the country in said RV and helping people through chaos, which they know about. Both Lyndsay and Chris have suffered through depression, and Lyndsay has seen the dark side of addiction. Where lesser people might have just accepted this, these two decided to take it head-on and have come out the other side much happier and living a life that they want. We talk about not just escaping the chaos of life, but hugging it. We also talk about the shitstorm that is living in an RV… which is a literal statement in most cases. Both Chris and Lindsay talk about their journey, both separately and together, and both talk about the books that are coming out… THIS WEEK! Jason Eric Ross is a psychotherapist by trade and has been a psychopath... or at least portrayed one on TV. Jason became an actor late in life and, last year, decided he didn't want to have any regrets in his life so he enrolled in and is nearly finished with the UCB sketch and improv programs after waiting 14 years to start. He recently appeared on Betty en NY on Telemundo and will be seen in Paper Empire this fall with Robert Davi, Denise Richards, Steve Guttenberg and Wesley Snipes. In his professional career, Jason followed in the footsteps of his psychoanalyst parents and helps people in mental health with parenting, trauma, substance abuse and co-authored a book with his mother on parenting called "You Can Say No And, Yes Parents, Your Children Will Still Love You" which you can get on Amazon for free! Jason has also been a Beatle, or at least a fake one in the Beatle cover band “Let It Be”; he played the “quiet one” George on guitar. We talk about having psychoanalyst parents, not falling terribly far from the tree, comedy and improv, parenting, and then I use this as a way to get free therapy… oh and we record a sketch too! RJ began his career teach magic over the summers at the famous "French Woods Festival of the performing Arts" Summer camp (NY, 2015-2017). There he learned magic himself and was able to teach thousands of children magic, including the children of celebrities like: Ben Stiller, Debora Messing and Alicia Keys. He was then able to take the skills he learned in New York to Shanghai, China. In 2018 RJ was able to travel to china to start the first summer camp Magic program in the country.With a rhetoric degree and a comedy podcast RJ is an excellent public speaker. He is known to speak and write on topics from racial injustice to magic/business. In 2016 RJ gave a TED Talk Entitled The "Ham Sandwwich". Sometimes some of my favorite humor is when a character gets into a really uncomfortable or awkward situation and sees his or her way through it, this is not one of those cases. Also, the punchline on this sketch was perfect. So we have finished migrating the podcast over to the new service, iTunes has been updated and now you can actually see our delightful artwork in Apple Podcasts and hopefully everywhere! That has been a thing I have wanted so badly for so long! And now onto Alisha and my discussion about spider gender and feces… totally classy! We also record a sketch about our deepest, darkest fears…. Muahahahahaha-ahem… enjoy this week’s show. And don’t forget to stick around after the show to hear us improvise the actual sketch! Zootopia is a remake of a classic sci-fi movie. Stuart gets attacked by a spider and then Alisha and Stuart try to figure out the spider’s gender. This episode was out of the space-time continuum, and should have been released before last week’s episode but go check that one out too because Dr. Kiki! Alisha did something called Questival which is a 24-hour scavenging hunt; Alisha learns how to become a true a**hole about it. Alisha officiated a wedding and did not sleep for 39 hours so she could legally kill someone; Stuart ruined said wedding and would have been a good victim. Summertime is terrible because kids require things. The sketch is fantastic. Pooping is never an option while sexy time, but sometimes it might be better than trying to race home. A smorgasbord of feces ensued. Forks should never be the tool one uses for plumbing. Alisha and Stuart decide the best upgrade for any toilet is a blender.
