"This Debate is Masterful" with Margaret and Ali | Podcast Hosts of the “I Can’t Even” Podcast
Listen to the sketch on YouTube here!: Hey Everybody! This week’s episode is a threesome! Now that I have your attention, this episode features myself as well as Ali (@ali) and Margaret (@marg) of the “I Can’t Even” podcast, the show that discusses adulating as an old millennial. They tackle such topics such as relationships, politics, women’s rights and even dick pics! You can catch their podcast on iTunes: https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/i-cant-even/id1163280696?mt=2&at=1000l8hH. I don’t know why people complain about millennials, these two were fantastic! Just a warning, the sketch is one of the shaggiest of dog stories we have ever done. It’s going to be really confusing until you hear the last line, then it might be worth listening again to really get the funny out of it. Every week I get on here and tell you something new and exciting about what I’m doing or about podcasts or whatever. This week, I am going to ask you to reach out and touch your phone! See the artwork for the podcast, did you know that if you tap on it the show notes for the show pop up? Go ahead and try it! See, now you are reading and listening AT THE SAME TIME! Mind-blowing, I know, but the other nice thing is that you can scroll to the bottom and get all of the other ways that you can connect to the show. Drop us a line! And now, episode 10 “This Debate is Masterful” We discuss desserts and how Hungryman is not an okay dessert, especially if you get a picture of an amazing dessert from your wife who is eating out that night. Because it was close to the election, we discuss the first presidential debate from 2016, so we discuss that quite a bit. Stuart gushes about their podcast which he finds out is no longer in existence, but we get to hear about Margaret and Ali’s new podcast. We discuss how difficult it is to come up with content for a podcast… so all podcaster’s should get paid handsomely for their work, right? RIGHT!?! We learn more about Brad and Angelina then Stuart expected to ever learn. The sketch this week is a debate regarding the most important subject on most of America’s minds… Sketch Comedy Podcast show is an independent and completely improvised sketch podcast that is based on conversations with interesting people like YOU! "Everyone Loves the Goonies!" with Kelly Guimont | Tech Journalist and Fellow Podcaster on "The Aftershow"
Listen to the sketch on YouTube here!: Hey Everyone! This week’s episode features Kelly Guimont (@verso) who is a tech journalist, fellow podcaster and also one of the heads of an organization that I absolutely adore: App Camp for Girls. App Camp is a summer program for young women for the sole purpose of teaching them how to code… with no boys allowed. You can learn more by going to appcamp4girls.com and I wish very much that I would have forced my daughter’s to go. Unfortunately, they are both too old now, but it’s not too late for your daughters. I’m just a rotten parent. I’m getting super excited about season 2 of the new Sketch Comedy Podcast Show. I’m still looking for guests, so if you know someone, are someone, or can think of someone you don’t know that you feel would be great on the show, let me know! I need to contact 100 people in the next couple of weeks, aspirational guests from many walks of life, and wonder if I can get some help on people to do this show with. I have some really great guests coming up and I look forward to those recording sessions.
