32. A New Perspective On Discipline
11/29/21 • 12 min
There is not a one size fits all on how to practice discipline but so often we feel like discipline will mean a life that is free of deviation and joy. An aversion to discipline can stem from a number of areas of life, for some, even as far back as young children where the repercussion was punishment based. Which is why a lot of us associate discipline with failure. In this episode we talk about how discipline is not in not quantified by how much you do, but rather, how much you do on purpose, and sometimes that can mean showing up to do something instead of nothing.

31. The Power Of Taking Ownership
In this episode we discuss how taking ownership instead of blaming gives you power to make positive change. When we don't take responsibility of our actions, where we're at in life and our unintentional wrong doings, we give all our power away because we cannot change what we are not claiming as our own. Taking ownership might not feel great right off the bat but in the long run it will make you feel empowered because when we learn from our behavior and experiences we give ourselves the opportunity to experience better outcomes.

33. Maximize Your Work Productivity By Using This One Technique
We get used to thinking that when we are working that every minute needs to be maximized and not wasted with a break because there is always more that needs to get done. But at that point it usually costs three times as much time to get half as much done. Today we discuss the Pomodoro technique, which is beneficial for our memory, focus, ability to absorb information and keeps our mind engaged instead of wandering when we are learning or doing work tasks. Say goodbye to cramming and hello to focused productivity.
