Mindful Man Project Episode 11 - Dr. Nick Papastamatis
The Mindful Man Project
02/05/20 • 63 min
"There’s a lot I love about being a Chiropractor. I think the thing I love most is that in order to help someone through a problem, you need to be a problem solver, educator, listener, friend and overall leader."
Nick Papas is one of those few practitioners that I know and trust will be able to help my most beloved and the clients I send him. His knowledge in the field of chiro and human movement is immense and this shows through in the way he cares for each individual.
Aside from treating patients Nick is also in charge of 5 clinics across Sydney, Balance Health & Performance. He is also now helping health practitioners, personal trainers, and coaches fine tune their skills, finding their why and elevating their careers through the knowledge he possesses.
Nick has had his share of failures and learning experiences but none have deterred him from his mission in life.

Conscious Fathering and Excelling as a dad with Jordan Potts
The Mindful Man Project
09/28/23 • 50 min
On this week's episode I have Jordan Potts, a dedicated young dad and entrepreneur passionate about holistic health who’s on a mission to transform the lives of fathers in business. With over a decade of experience in the health and fitness industry, Jordan's journey began with a life-altering incident in his early 20s. A near-fatal fall from a tree while under the influence of drugs and alcohol propelled him to reevaluate his life, leading to a relentless pursuit of genuine health, happiness, and strength.
Drawing from this profound experience, Jordan has immersed himself in a diverse range of health modalities, crafting a unique and highly effective approach to world class health and wellness. His program, "90 Day Hero Dad," is designed exclusively for fathers in business who've lost their way when it comes to their health.
These dads may have the financial means to invest in their well-being, but they often don't know where to start. Jordan's program guides, coaches, and empowers them to reclaim their health, regenerate elite levels of vitality, and rediscover their physique, confidence, and leadership as thriving fathers.
Targeteted toward 30-45-year-old dads in business who understand that their health is the cornerstone of their success and fulfillment. With over 1000 families' lives already positively impacted by his work, Jordan's message is clear: "A rich sick man wants only ONE thing. Sooner or later, your health will become your number 1 priority. Let’s make sure it’s not due to devastating news that you pull your finger out and get your health in order.
In Jordan's words, “Wealth is more than money. You may be successful in business, but without your health in order, you are not a wealthy man. Take ownership and responsibility and reclaim your health, so you can be the man, husband and father you know you need to be for your family."
You can find Jordan along with the incredible wealth of knowledge he shares on his instagram @consciouscarnivore1.0. It’s here he openly shares his experience, and the simple yet transformative practices to improve your health. Mindful Man Project Episode 14 - Dan Tucker
The Mindful Man Project
05/17/20 • 39 min
Dan has worked as a tradesman for over 17 years in the mining and construction industry and is passionate about providing training and resources to improve mental and physical health outcomes in our industry.
“After many years of failing to self manage stress and fatigue which led to me to finding balance in all the wrong ways, I was taught how to meditate and most importantly gained education around stress management. The way in which my life has opened up is beyond anything I thought possible when I began and I am constantly finding myself in awe of how this simple daily practice brings so much benefit to everyone that does it”.
Dan has spent the past 6 years going deep into the practice and knowledge of Meditation and Yoga. Becoming a certified 1GM Meditation teacher and accredited Yoga instructor.
Following a curiosity to understand himself and purpose in the world he began a practice that allowed him to find connection to a deeper state of quiet or “Being” that wasn’t dependent on the external circumstances of life. It also gave him awareness to see life from a fresh perspective which led Dan to find balance in ways that were more sustainable and life supporting.
His mission in life is mental health support for tradespeople, he has decided to take his knowledge and experience to create a Workplace Wellness program especially designed for employees in the mining and construction industries. A program that is just as impactful for the tradespeople on site as it is for all levels of management and administration.
These programs are effective, time/cost-efficient and designed to provide workers with very practical stress management tools, information and resources that empower them to feel and do better at work. In this episode we discuss his journey to becoming a meditation teacher, how this journey has effected his life on and off the job-site and his own mental health. We discuss his life now as a meditation teacher and what he hopes to achieve from it and the importance of meditation in peoples lives for stress relief and other health benefits.
