I discuss redeeming yourself after having a bad race or simply a race that didn't go as planned or hoped for. In life and in running, if we don't succeed, no matter how many times we've tried, we should be encouraged to learn from our mistakes and try again. We shouldn't accept failure and should attempt to redeem ourselves while aiming to improve.
I discuss races at 4 different distances where I was disappointed and came back to redeem the previous experience. Some went well, some didn't. Some took multiple attempts. It's all about getting better each day and having faith that you can reach your goals.

I recap my experience from the Long Haul 100. A 100 mile trail race in Florida. Everything from camping out the night before to crossing the finish line. With a sub 30 hour finish I would qualify for Western States. With a sub 28:38 finish I would get a personal record.
