Emily Dean
04/06/22 • 43 min
The Midpoint is back once again and we’re starting this series with someone very close to Gabby’s heart. Emily Dean.
A best-selling author, journalist, television producer, radio presenter and chart-topping podcaster; Emily is a bit of a high achiever, and is known for her energy, warmth, and wit. But whilst she never fails to uplift those around her, her midlife has been marred by overwhelming loss which many would struggle to overcome.
In just three years, Emily lost her entire immediate family. Her sister Rachael, her mother Christine, and her father Michael died one after another and she became ‘an adult orphan’ on the cusp of her mid-forties.
