It was an honour to sit down with the great Sakis of Rotting Christ and talk about Heretics, art, inspiration and the importance of connecting with metal fans through his music. Even though it was a short conversation, I was able to take away from it a man of unshakable faith in the music he creates for his fans, knowing that the joy that he generates for us metalheads playing Rotting Christ's music brings him absolute happiness.

The Metal Cell was delighted to host Nathanael/vox & guitars and Flow/drums of Damim before they went onstage and gave a blistering performance to a packed crowd in Cyprus Avenue. They gave a great insight into the workings of Damim, by talking through the recording of their terrifc album 'A Fine Game of Nil', the filming of 'Rising of the Lights' video, signing with Apocalyptic Witchcraft and future plans as well. It was a pleasure to be in such fine company and I'm really looking forward to catching these lads again on tour.
