The Lotuscast - Peter Cullen Frank Welker and Lou Ferrigno
play

11/06/15 • 194 min

Adam returns from filming, David Langill visits the show, and the situations around our interviews may be more interesting than our interviews with Peter Cullen, Frank Welker, and Lou Ferrigno that lead up to Rhode Island Comic Con. All this before Joe can back out of a solo interview. We started the show off discussing the woman who went around filming a guy who she claimed was secretly filming young girls. While we have no proof the guy was filmed anyone, it's not illegal to film people in parks or public areas. We talked about the new Star Trek series in the works for next year. It's being banished to CBS All Access in a bid to drive viewers to the service, however the general consensus is that we will be torrenting the new series. Dave foolishly claimed that all new shows are superhero shows, but refuses to back down when presented with facts. In the second hour, we talked about how the interview with Peter Cullen and Frank Welker came about. Matt had scheduled the interview and invited everyone to join. Joe was the only who accepted the invite. The night of the interview, Matt has trouble connecting to the conference call, which left Joe the only one to do the interview. We play the awkward solo interview with Peter Cullen and Frank Welker where they talk about their favorite voices, picking the right voice for a character, and THEN HAVING MEGATRON HAVE A DISCUSSION WITH EEYORE. Matt setup the next interview with Lou Ferrigno over Text message with Lou himself. The story of the text messages involves sending back Salmon dinners three times, pictures of Matt's wife, and Bailey Jay. Lou came on and did a phone interview with us, and described working as Michael Jackson's personal trainer, and not drinking alcohol to get drunk. The Lotuscast - Hypothetical Situations
play

09/18/15 • 203 min

We started this week's show with the revelation that Matt eats peanuts whole - shell and all. To draw attention back to himself, Roman tries and fails again to convince anyone that running outside is a good thing. You were out of the loop if you didn't here about Clock kid. Charles, in his most animated performance on the show, sides with the police officers and says the kid came into the school with a fake bomb to cause a scene and to make a point, when most of America says he was racial profiled. Dave believes there is no way he would ever take a piss (drug) test, even for $100,000. Matt pitches Dave his new idea - Dave would be suckling milk from Matt's breast and then getting swaddled (swindled) like a baby. A 13 Year old was charged with assault for kissing a 14 Year old girl, and a Whattaburger in Texas denied police service, forcing them to eat at Dairy Queen instead. Brian Murphy came by from the Open Mic Night at the Medway Lotus, and performed two songs for us in studio. Check out his band, Otis and the Blackcoats on Facebook. Harvey's Headlines brought us news of the crane collapse in Mecca, replete with horrifying video. A church sued a strip club over their topless protests of the church, someone has volunteered to be the first Human Head Transplant, and a Robot Ethicist wants sex with robots banned. In Star Trek Related News, Jennifer Lien who plays Kes on Star Trek Voyager, decided to show her boobies to some kids and got arrested. You can download this episode on iTunes, Stitcher, and here:

Comedian Mike Holmes came in studio this week and yenta'd on with us about the Kim Davis saga, the Nicole Arbour controversy, and this was our premiere week on Periscope. Matt gave us his opinion on Narcos on Netflix (you should watch it). We moved next into the Kim Davis reality show, the Kentucky clerk who refuses to issue marriage licenses to gay couples and was recently released from prison for contempt of court. She even drew presidential candidate Mike Huckabee to her release day, who attempted to emulate human emotions in a bid to win crowd support. Mike Holmes told us his upcoming schedule which you can find at his website. Mike will appear at the Rogue Island Comedy Festival, which you can also help fund on their Kickstarter page. We watched comedian Nicole Arbour's video, Dear Fat People which is supposed to fat shame people into losing weight. This of course was met with backlash from our society's greatest fat people, including the star of My Big Fat Fabulous Life - Whitney Way Thore. We made it through her response video where we learned acceptance about being fat and enjoying fast food. Harvey's Headlines brought us the news about Wes Craven's death, the Superbad stunt by a Millis MA police officer, and Elon Musk wants to nuke Mars. A Mexican man has a 19" penis, Universal made $1B in movies this year, and a Canadian Parliament candidate dropped out because a video of him pissing in a mug surfaced. The Lotuscast - Robert Kelly and Jay Burns
play

08/28/15 • 192 min

While Matt was looking for some clarity about eating and sucking on Moby Dick, Robert Kelly from Sex, Drugs and Rock and Roll called in. Robert Kelly talks about his dream of Indian (Native American) girls and delves into his food addiction. Everybody tells their favorite orders at fast food restaurants and Robert says his favorite is In and Out Burger - a double double with fries and a shake. Robert describes his weight difference between his first appearance and the second episode on Sex Drugs and Rock and Roll and getting to eat food as improv on TV. Check out Robert's special, Robert Kelly Live, for $5 on right on his website. Jay Burns talks changing the color of your poops with us. We discuss more fast food items to eat with Jay, and everyone describes how they hide their large food orders from judgmental fast food employees. Jay tells us about his Chaturbate flirtation, where he was a porn star for a bit. He told us his tricks for dealing with hecklers, and announced that he is starting his own horror movie podcast, called It Came from Another Podcast. The last hour we ran with one Harvey's Headline - the live TV shooting of WDBJ reporters Adam Ward and Allison Parker by Vester Flannagan. We watched the videos Vester posted to Facebook of him committing murder, and wonder if we are desensitized to these videos at this point. You can find Jay Burns on Twitter and Instagram and check out Robert Kelly's website, Twitter, and Instagram. You can listen to the episode on iTunes, Stitcher, and here:
