Sometimes, a Missing 411 case is unsolvable because the subject has passed on. Sometimes they appear right where you left them, just without any memories. Others still, it seems as though something kidnapped them. This story is different. In 1978, Steven Kubacki wandered onto the ice of Lake Michigan for some two hundred yards, vanished for 14 months, and then showed up with puzzling clues, total amnesia, and a distinct lack of curioisity about what happened to him. It could be along the same lines as Danny Filippidis, who disappeared from Upstate New York 40 years later.
