The Last Row: A Rewatchable Movie Podcast

Drew and Badway return from cover-story computer sales jobs to bring you another episode of The Last Row Podcast, this time covering the 1994 classic True Lies. The guys break out the sodium amytal to fact check serious statements such as ‘This is Jimmy Cameron’s best movie’ (False), ‘This is Bill Paxton’s best role’ (True), ‘Harry Tasker put the entire country at risk in order to save his marriage’ (True), and ‘Henchmen on skis are effective shooters’ (VERY False). When we tell you this is a great episode, you’re just going to have to trust us.

This week’s On Demand episode spotlights the releases of the Ghostbusters reboot and Zack Snyder's Ultimate Cut of Batman v Superman. Drew and Badway debate the pre-release hate of Ghostbusters, Feig’s responses to the haters, and the tire fire that is Fall Out Boy’s remake of the theme song. Additionally, the guys get into an argument with each other over Zack Snyder’s ability to make a coherent movie with a running time under 3 hours. Also, Badway mocks Drew’s need for a physical copy of BvS over digital. The episode wraps up with a brand new edition of Plot Fiction.

As Drew can attest, Badway can be difficult to handle on the set of The Last Row Podcast. This week’s On Demand episode focuses on the actors and actresses who are rumored to be divas on the sets of their films. The guys discuss the shade that Irish filmmaker John Carney threw at Keira Knightley recently, and speculate on who else in Hollywood is most likely to be a jerk to their castmates and directors. Additionally, they discuss the new character tidbits The Rock leaked about his character, “Hobbs” during Fast 8 filming. Finally, Badway attempts to stump Drew in another round of Plot Fiction.

Drew and Badway fight for their lives to survive the most recent episode of The Last Row Podcast by analyzing the Arnold Schwarzenegger classic, The Running Man.
