In this episode, I talk to Claire Hill Self belief coach and my new mindset bestie who actually motivated me to start this podcast.
This week we discuss tips and tricks Claire learnt from being a maths teacher to help you feel more productive and start believing you are capable of anything. Being a Mum doesn't have to mean our dreams are put on the back burner and Claire has such inspiring energy which is so helpful when self-doubt starts creeping in.
Claire is a trauma-informed coach who uses her own past experience of losing her father at a young age and becoming a career for her Mother and younger siblings. Along with her experience being an assistant head in a secondary school to support women to dim down their imposter syndrome and power up their self-belief.
Claire started her first business Vivid Wire while on maternity leave with her son 4 years ago. She now runs the Vivid club link a membership for business owners. It is a tribe of Vivid, Brave, Warrior Bosses which embraces a trauma-informed approach, lifts up + empowers you, and boosts your mindset, energy + business. Transforming you from worrier to WARRIOR BOSS!

One of the toughest aspects of parenting is learning to regulate your own emotions when your children can't regulate theirs. We understand the importance of letting children feel their feelings, yet we often lack the tools to manage our own. The Imperfect Mum - Why I love January

Why I love January

The Imperfect Mum

play

01/15/24 • 14 min

I'm back after a bit of a Hiatus (loss in motivation/Christmas overwhelm).
And what better day for my first episode of 2024 than Blue Monday?
Ive decided to make all the new episodes 15 minutes so you can squeeze them in when you get them in during a quiet car ride, if you get the chance to make dinner in peace or when you're working out or going for a walk.
This week is my top tips to reframe January as I have learned to love January.
I used to dread this cold dark month and now it's one of my favourites as I can see it for the calm quiet start to the year where I get to plan all the exciting things I want to do with my year.
This isn't rocket science it's just reframing and I promise even if you get 1 thing from this it could make January a bit moe manageable.
If you are back in a job you hated this month, it is when you have time to plan your escape.
If you are feeling festively plump now is the perfect time to focus on feeling good about yourself because no one wants to go out.
If you enjoy the episode please leave me a review and share the podcast with a Mum who might find it helpful it will help me more than you know.

The Imperfect Mum - Birth, epidurals and Mum shame
play

02/06/24 • 18 min

In this episode, I share my experience of birth and explore why we are not allowed to talk more honestly about the realities of birth.
Over 45% of women report having a traumatic birth and a huge part of that is that we are led to believe that because birth is natural it's going to be easy.
If you are struggling with birth trauma or feeling any shame following your birth please join my supportive community. I know my experience of Motherhood was made so much easier by being surrounded by Mums I could be myself with but it took a while to find my tribe. link
