In this episode Curtis and Mark talk about recent trends on social media platforms that are censoring hunting-related content. Recently Instagram pulled down some content off the Hunters of Color account citing their community guidelines and YouTube has developed a non hunting/trapping policy that even resulted in the locking of the popular Canadian-made Trapper’s Inc YouTube Channel. What does this level of censorship mean? Facebook/Meta thinks hunting is about explosives and prohibit certain hunting business ads. All while all these platforms are mining your personal data. Should private for-profit firms be allowed to do this? What to you the listeners think?
