E124 - Steve Lubetkin - A History Lesson in Podcasting, How Healthy is Podcasting and What Lies Ahead

Steve Lubetkin is managing partner of The Lubetkin Media Companies, an award-winning producer of documentary style radio, TV and other multimedia content distributed over the Internet as podcasts. He also serves as news director and principal reporter for the firm's StateBroadcastNews.com division, which produces news content for media outlets.

He is the anchor of the weekly commercial real estate news podcast, "The CRE News Hour," available on StateBroadcastNews.com, and provides a daily radio newscast to "Radio Jersey," a streaming radio show available on Mixcloud.com.

From 2014-2019, he was the New Jersey and Philadelphia editor for GlobeSt.com, a commercial real estate news website, and a contributing editor to Real Estate Forum, its sister print publication. From 2017-2018, he was national broadcast correspondent for the relaunch of CEOReport.com, where he produced and anchored video interviews with corporate CEOs.

Since 1996, he has written “CompuSchmooze,” a technology column in the Jewish Community Voice of Southern New Jersey (www.jewishvoicesnj.org).

A seasoned technology futurist, Steve was one of the first journalists to use portable computer technology in the field when he reported on a Grateful Dead rock concert in 1977. He has included an email address on his business card since 1988.

A nationally published writer and photojournalist, he is a member of the Online News Association, Radio & Television Digital News Association (RTNDA), National Press Photographers Association, the Society of Professional Journalists, and the Professional Photographers of America. He has won more than a dozen awards for video and audio news reporting from the Garden State Journalists Association.

He is Accredited in Public Relations by the Public Relations Society of America and is a member of PRSA’s prestigious College of Fellows, and currently serves as vice president of digital technology for the Philadelphia Chapter of IABC.

Steve holds an MBA from the University of Phoenix/ONLINE and a BA in Spanish and Philosophy (dual major) from Monmouth College (now Monmouth University), West Long Branch, NJ.

The Book: The Business of Podcasting: How to Take Your Podcasting Passion from the Personal to the Professional This book is by two of the pioneers in podcasting: Donna Papacosta of Trafalgar Communications, host of the popular "Trafcom News Podcast" and an internationally known trainer and seminar leader; and Steve "@PodcastSteve" Lubetkin, founder of Professional Podcasts, one of the first podcast production companies and a division of The Lubetkin Media Companies LLC, an award-winning producer of business and organizational podcasts, with more than three quarters of a million downloads.
Unlike other podcasting books that delve into the mechanics of creating a podcast, The Business of Podcasting tells you about the business side of podcasting: how to position clients' expertise through podcasting, the best business models, how to find clients, contracts, legal reviews, and much more. https://thebusinessofpodcasting.com/

Podcast - Intuitive Conversations with Doug

https://pod.link/1593172364 Over the past 6 years Doug has been on a journey of developing his Inner Mission (Intuition). He's watched men misjudge situations, only to hear them say, "I knew I shouldn't have done that". Why didn't they listen to their gut feel, that inner knowing, inner voice, call it what you want?
Doug is passionate about men following their inner guidance, and invites them to join him and special guests here each week as they discusses simple ways to do that. https://dougbeitz.com/ ___ https://howtopodcast.ca/ Leave Dave a message - https://www.speakpipe.com/HelloDave Get a podcast review of your show! - https://podcastfeedback.ca/
