The Davis family - Don, Darlene, and Evan, join us on the 2nd recording of the Gunks Cast special S.O.S. series. Tune in to hear how the grassroots hometown triathlon has grown into an international race of distinction and a bucket list race for every triathlete out there. Don Davis is the founder of the 36-year old S.O.S. Triathlon and was crushing triathlons before most people ever heard of a triathlon. From 1984 through 2018 Don organized, and ran, the S.O.S. Triathlon with help from Darlene and a group of trusted friends and community. Evan has since taken the reigns and with the help of both Don, Darlene, and the rest of the “SOS Family”, sets up this amazing event every year on the 2nd Sunday in September.
