What's your favorite scary movie?
Oh wait, wrong movie.
What's your favorite urban legend?
Tune in now to listen to your favorite Gory Gays break down the 1998 'teen' slasher (where every teen is at least 30) "Urban Legend" - while Stanley praises the music and the campiness of Rebecca Gayheart's performance, Alex stands behind the gloomy background of the actual legends themselves, but ultimately we think everyone can agree we are anti-Natalie, and really... did we even need this film? We also discuss the beauty of Loretta Devine, Danielle Harris breaking out from her childhood horror-roles, and how we chose to celebrate Halloween this year... but we DID, however, forget to mention that the creepy janitor is played by horror vet Julian Richings! Here's to a lovely holiday everyone. That's a wrap, Spooky Season! 🎃 Don't forget to rate us on Apple Podcasts and whatever else you'd like and to follow us on the socials. Thank you to all of you listeners

Halloween III: Season of the Witch (1982)
It’s our Halloween episode, gory friends!
Considered the bastard stepchild of the “Halloween” franchise, we quite like this weird sci-fi third (by name only) entry of the series! If you are capable of removing Michael Myers from the equation (you’d better, because he’s not in the movie... or is he?) then you might just enjoy it and all of its kooky glory. There might not be a knife-wielding maniac chopping up babysitters but there IS a witchcraft-dabbling toy-maker out to sacrifice all the children of the world via creepy masks on All Hallow’s Eve... same thing, right? We also break down a few movies we’ve had the chance to catch up with lately, including what we’re covering next week, too! SpookySeason has been great, guys, and we’re already looking forward to next year... but isn’t it always Spooky Season in our dark horror hearts? Don’t forget to follow us on socials and rate us on Apple Podcasts! Happy Halloween!

Cabin Fever (2002)
Finally, an actually GORY movie! We know you've all been waiting for one, and we're excited to talk about one... and which one better than this insane bloodbath?!!
(And get ready, because this one's our long one!)
Gore Maestro Eli Roth literally burst onto the horror scene back in 2002 at TIFF (and then in the US a year later) with his feature film debut, "Cabin Fever", and since then, it's garnered mad respect from the likes of Peter Jackson and it's spawned two sequels and a remake, all of which we discuss in our eighth episode -- but don't worry, we also talk about a list of other things, such as bi-polar disorder, the upcoming holidays, and our current theme: Six Weeks of Holiday Horror, which begins next week with the 1972 Sally Field Thanksgiving-set thriller, “Home For the Holidays". As always, we're excited to be here, and grateful for you to be listening. Don't hesitate to leave us a review, even if Stanley pretends to not handle constructive criticism (hahaha.) Comments and suggestions are always welcome! We love all of you!
