Female founder Brenda Mierzejewski, of Mizzi Cosmetics - home of the Lip Luxe brand - joined Teresa Collins and Briana Christine in The Glow Up Lounge for this episode!
Brenda was such a fabulous guest, and told us the story of how she began Mizzi, when her infant son was in the hospital with heart problems and the nurses were applying petroleum jelly to his lips. Being a breastfeeding mom, she wanted to make sure that what went on his lips was safe to ingest, which got her thinking about all things we put on our lips in general.
With her chemist background, she got to work in her kitchen creating what we know as Lip Luxe today! And she didn't start there - now her team is changing the game for med spas worldwide when it comes to after care for the invasive procedures we put ourselves through - from laser, to CO2, to filler to microneedling - her proprietary formulas are specifically created to help patients heal 50% faster and be able to enjoy the results of those treatments longer.
