In this Episode I sit down with sport scientist, Heart Math practitioner, and performance coach Mitchell Woods.
Mitchell is a meditation teacher, breath enhancement coach, HeartMath practitioner, and elite sporting High-Performance Coach. Mitchell has a background in strength and conditioning and exercise science in elite sports. In 2008, Mitchell had an unfortunate snowboarding incident which injured his hip and left him bone on bone for a decade. This pain forced Mitchell on a journey that required him to heal physically, mentally, and emotionally. From this experience, Mitchell Woods has created a coaching experience like you’ve never had before. Having worked with some of the best elite performance coaches in the world; Mitchell has the capacity to develop your mind, body and beyond.
We have a very down too earth, heart centred, but also scientific discussion about the intelligence of the heart and how learning to relegate your nervous system can impact your performance not only in high steaks sport but in all areas of life. We talk about the parallels of eastern philosophy, meditation, and how modern science is starting to reflect what the Rishis's and the sages intuitively knew.
