Sprint or Marathon to the Phd
There are many cases where a student goes through school without stopping. He/she went from Kindergarten to PHD without taking any water breaks. Everything has a pro and a con. On one hand, one can graduate in his/her mid twenties and have their whole life to gain experience. There is also another option is what many more students choose: to gain experience. After obtaining their Bachelors Degree, one may decide to take a year off and get a job. Afterward, obtain their Masters after gaining that experience. By the time their PHD is completed, they are almost 40. Is it worth it to gain experience and prolonging the road to becoming a doctor, or is it better to go from start to finish nonstop.
