
#50 How To Tell If You're An Entrepreneur - Or Not

I heard a joke once that went something like this:
Question: "How do you know if someone is an entrepreneur?"
Answer: "Don't worry they'll tell you!"
Ok, one more joke, this time it's a bit better ..
A young businessman had just started his own firm. He rented a beautiful office and had it furnished with antiques. Sitting there, he saw a man come into the outer office.
Wishing to appear the hot shot, the businessman picked up the phone and started to pretend he had a big deal working.
He threw huge figures around and made giant commitments. Finally he hung up and asked the visitor, “Can I help you?”
The man said, “Yeah, I’ve come to activate your phone lines.”
But seriously, how can you tell if you are an entrepreneur, or if what you really are is a business owner? Both are awesome in their own right but require very different mindsets.
