Part 1: Time Management Habits of Highly Effective Women: Planning Your Day

As a mom of 3 daughters, these time management habits helped me say focused on my goals while also having fun running my business too. Say “goodbye” to stress and “hello” to more joy in your work and life after implementing 1-2 of these habits in your weekly routine.

1. THEY PLAN THEIR DAY THE NIGHT BEFORE.

Before you go to bed, do you know what your top priorities are for the next day? You don’t want to be stressed in the morning and you want to be able to have a plan. Before you go to bed, know what your priorities are and this will greatly reduce any overwhelm you have.

Personal Update!

Changes in my life!!

  1. Homeschooling for the next year!
  2. Traveling around Europe! CCG International - Starting in Rome, Italy in July

I could do a whole episode on everything related to that but the biggest thing that I want to encourage you in is that with the right time management habits, you can still live the life of your dreams, the career of your dreams.

We can all be busy but what truly matters because you do have time for that.

I am going to be homeschooling in the morning and in the afternoons working/taking coaching calls.

Lately I have been using a habit tracker and I can see the habits I am not getting done, Those need to be scheduled into the day. For example, 10K steps. Journaling. Nope. drinking water. Nope.If it doesn’t get schedule into the day. It doesn’t get done.

Same with your big goals, i teach my clients when they create 90 days plans, we break down the tasks and put them into their calendar.

Now that I have a company, I have a 25 person org chart and I go through those roles on my calendar. Mond: SM manager. Tue: Program Director. Thur: Sales Person Not a list of a million things to do.

I put the days schedule for the kids on the whiteboard.

Communication is key. So you and everyone around you knows what to expect.

So when do you plan your day ahead of time? I do this right after dinner. Clean up and write it down. Every Sunday I do a weekly review so I have a general idea of what is going to happen during the week.

Being a homeschool mom is actually making me more effective at habits and routines. It’s forcing me to get better because I have less time to waste. And my kids are my ultimate why. With a 9 year old, this is the time that I have with her to teach her the things I wish I knew at that age. I love you all and all my clients, but the girls in my house (or airbnbs for the next year) are truly what matters most to me right now. I just feel this huge responsibility right now to teach them. And I never imagined I would be a homeschool mom but I truly know that it’s my calling right now and I will make time for it because it’s important.

While also reaching my business goals too! Because trust me, CCG has some big vision and mission that we are currently in the midst of completing.

Build a life outside of work that you are so excited for. Work is important. And those baby steps count. Over 13 years ago I started a blog. I’m not just moving to Europe on day 1 and working. It’s 13 years of daily work on my business. It’s also over 10 years of trying to have kids as well. Having kids was not easy for me. I dealt with many miscarriages and IVF and embryo transfers and ugh it was not fun. So now that my three miracles are here, I see how every step and disappointment and better luck next time has truly led me to today.

I will never stop saying that every baby step counts. Keep doing things imperfectly. Keep believing in your vision. Keep posting those dreams to your vision board. Keep believing.

And back to the topic of the day, keep planning out your day ahead of time. Trust me! This will change your life.

I’m looking forward to our next podcast episode I am going to share part 2: Setting boundaries.
